Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Development of the backend for an AI agent platform along with associated microservices.

• Engage in the architecture design and technology selection process.

• Keep abreast of the latest updates and frameworks in AI agent technologies, and conduct studies and experiments.

• Enhance and optimize aspects of the platform related to agent creation, quality assessment, and load performance.

• Collaborate closely with platform clients, incorporate their feedback, and assist in creating a user-friendly product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2 years with Golang and 2 years with Python.

• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, and ADK is a plus.

• Experience in developing or integrating LLM-based features and agent-centric architectures is advantageous.

• Machine learning experience, including model training and evaluation, as well as implementation in production, is a significant advantage.

• Proven experience in building scalable, distributed systems and handling high-load architectures.

• Strong understanding of backend tools and technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and a microservices architecture.

• Experience in developing internal tools, automations, CRMs, and similar applications.

• A strong passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
