Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Assist in scaling the systems that support Tabby’s core offerings

• Engage in high-impact initiatives within a rapidly growing environment

• Collaborate with an exceptional remote engineering team distributed across over 20 countries

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering, including at least 2 years with Golang

• Proven experience in building scalable, distributed systems and managing high-load architectures

• Strong knowledge of backend tools and technologies — our stack includes PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and a microservices architecture

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development efforts

• A strong passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code

• A proactive attitude with the capability to work independently

• Excellent communication skills in English

• *Experience with Go is preferred; however, we welcome proficient backend engineers from any technology stack who are eager to learn Go
