Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and debug components for distributed systems that function at a large scale and high speed.

• Take ownership of and drive nonfunctional requirements, including scalability, availability, and security.

• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure robust code and functional coverage.

• Generate enterprise-level documentation for both internal and external collaboration.

• Decompose complex tasks into manageable components, planning and executing effectively.

• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance technology standards and consistently implement best practices.

• Engage actively in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of substantial hands-on coding experience with Golang, ideally in a product development setting.

• Strong foundation in programming and design, along with excellent problem-solving and coding abilities.

• Outstanding analytical and reasoning skills, with a knack for visualizing processes and outcomes.

• A genuine passion for continuous learning and growth while developing high-performance systems, with a thorough understanding of concurrency and multi-threading.

• Experience in architecting microservices and developing RESTful APIs.

• Previous experience with high-throughput, low-latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL databases, big data analytics, machine learning services, or large-scale systems is advantageous.
