Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable backend services and algorithms.

• Apply DevSecOps methodologies, including security protocols, monitoring, metrics, and automated alerts.

• Produce clean, well-documented, and production-ready code with comprehensive test coverage.

• Enhance engineering practices through code reviews, automated testing, and on-call support.

• Convert complex requirements into actionable sprint tasks while guiding team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a similar position.

• Proficiency in backend development using Python and at least one of the following: Golang, Rust, C++.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, metrics-driven deployment, containerization, and microservices.

• Experience in implementing and utilizing monitoring and tracing solutions.

• Knowledge of key-value stores and SQL databases, including performance optimization.

• Background in high-traffic, low-latency distributed systems, such as queue-first architecture and sharding.

• Proven expertise in architecture, including requirements gathering, problem-solving, and recommendations.
