Senior BackEnd Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage scalable backend services and RESTful APIs utilizing Java/Spring Boot and Python.

• Create and sustain cloud-native microservices on AWS/Azure, encompassing containerized deployments, CI/CD automation, and integration with enterprise data sources.

• Construct and enhance data pipelines and real-time streaming solutions by leveraging event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ).

• Guarantee the reliability, performance, and security of backend systems through monitoring, observability tools, and adherence to authentication/authorization best practices.

• Work in collaboration with Staff Engineers and cross-functional DevEx teams to convert architectural guidance into production-ready solutions, promote automation, and enhance overall developer productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• More than 3 years of backend development experience in Java (Spring Boot) or Python.

• At least 3 years of experience in RESTful API design and microservices.

• A minimum of 3 years of UNIX/Linux experience, including shell scripting.

• Over 2 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Git, GitHub Actions).

• More than 2 years of experience working with real-time data or streaming applications.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience).
