Senior Backend Engineer – AI focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop backend services that integrate AI functionalities into our Payroll processes.

• Work alongside ML engineers and operational teams to design practical AI-driven tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

• Excellent skills in API integration.

• Proven experience in integrating AI APIs within production environments.

• Ability to handle unstructured or complex data and manage ETL pipelines.

• Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with Python scripting for AI-based workflows.

• Knowledge of OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic APIs.

• Background in developing chatbots or conversational interfaces.

• Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals.

• Skills in document and file parsing (CSV, PDF, Excel).
