This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop scalable, high-performance software solutions that align with both business objectives and user requirements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver exceptional features and functionalities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Engage in code reviews, share knowledge with team members, and strive for continuous improvement in development processes.
• Advocate for new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that foster innovation and product advancement.
• Actively support our security-first approach by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust solutions proactively.
• Work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring smooth communication and teamwork across different time zones.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with authentication and authorization systems.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SaaS applications within a high-performance startup atmosphere.
• Comprehensive understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OIDC (OpenID Connect), SAML, and SCIM.
• Strong grasp of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including RBAC and ABAC.
• Experience in REST API design and development, particularly from a security perspective.
• Solid knowledge of web security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies, including CORS, XSS, CSRF, etc.
• Familiarity with token-based authentication systems, including JWT implementation and security considerations.
• Experience in session management and secure authentication workflows.
• Proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, Go, or their equivalents.
• Experience with cloud platforms and a background in building scalable cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with encryption processes and key management is an added advantage.
