Senior Backend Developer – WAT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable server-side logic and architecture.

• Create efficient and reusable code for processing extensive datasets and overseeing complex AI workflows.

• Construct and enhance APIs for data ingestion, retrieval, and integration with AI models.

• Collaborate with data pipelines to manage large-scale text, multimedia, and linguistic datasets for training and deploying AI models.

• Develop systems for the seamless integration and deployment of AI models within backend architectures.

• Implement WebRTC and WebSocket protocols for real-time data exchange and communication.

• Support video and audio streaming functionalities to elevate interactive AI applications.

• Design and maintain backend systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Apply security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and AI researchers to create cohesive systems and ensure a seamless user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a comparable role.

• Strong working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Expertise in containerization using Docker.

• Experience with AI integration, data pipelines, and the management of large datasets.

• Proficiency in streaming technologies, including WebRTC and WebSocket.

• A solid understanding of network security practices and the implementation of secure systems.
