Senior Backend Developer – VB6, C#, PostgreSQL, APIs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the maintenance, support, and evolution of the service infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of systems across all company units.

• Implement automations and monitoring systems that enhance the efficiency and reliability of production environments, developing and integrating solutions to streamline operations.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to address complex problems and implement new features in systems, focusing on infrastructure and observability.

• Conduct troubleshooting and corrections in the environments and systems used by the company, proactively monitoring and responding to incidents to ensure business stability and continuity.

• Work on the optimization and continuous improvement of deployment and CI/CD processes, ensuring that DevOps practices align with business needs and reliability standards.

• Keep technical documentation updated, ensuring that reliability engineering practices are properly recorded and accessible to teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Programming logic for support tasks.

• Knowledge in API and service development.

• Over 5 years of experience in programming languages VB6 and C# applied to development.

• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer) and their optimization in high-scale production environments.

• Version control tools (Git), with an emphasis on collaborative practices and continuous integration.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform, or other infrastructure as code tools (a plus).

• Experience with cloud environments (preferably Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is a plus.
