Senior Backend Developer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs utilizing Python.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code in accordance with best practices.

• Conduct code reviews to guarantee quality, testability, and standardization.

• Develop and enhance applications for optimal performance and scalability.

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving production incidents.

• Contribute to architectural decisions, best practices, and technological advancements.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate daily in English with global teams and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English — C2 level (both written and spoken).

• Demonstrated experience as a Python Backend Developer.

• Strong expertise with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent.

• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins and GitLab CI.

• Capability to produce clean, modular, and scalable code.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to collaborate in remote, multicultural teams.
