• Lead API Design: Design GraphQL schemas and resolvers, leveraging Action classes to ensure that business logic complies with SOLID principles.

• Domain Ownership: Model complex real-estate workflows that encompass property syndication, reservation agreements, and interactions with buyers.

• Build Fault-Tolerant Workflows: Enhance background processing through Horizon for generating PDFs, indexing searches, and publishing to portals.

• Search Engineering: Develop high-performance OpenSearch indexing and intricate query strategies for discovering locations and properties.

• Resilient Integrations: Uphold strong third-party client relationships by implementing webhooks and advanced rate-limiting strategies.

• Elevate Engineering Rigor: Foster a culture of testing discipline by providing thorough Codeception and functional tests for every feature.

⛳️ Requirements

• Backend Mastery: Over 5 years of professional engineering experience with extensive expertise in PHP and the Laravel ecosystem (Eloquent, Jobs, Events).

• API & Data Knowledge: Significant experience in designing GraphQL APIs and optimizing PostgreSQL for large, intricate datasets.

• Scaling Systems: Proven experience with Horizon/Redis for reliable background processing and OpenSearch for index mapping.

• Security & Auth: Strong understanding of RBAC, OAuth (Socialite), Sanctum, and multi-factor authentication.

• Engineering Discipline: Committed to SOLID principles, automated testing (PHPUnit/Codeception), and navigating established codebases effectively.

• Architectural Thinking: Solid grasp of distributed systems, application design patterns, and managing complex technical trade-offs.

• Remote Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a remote asynchronous environment with a high degree of self-organization.

• Communication: Capable of clearly conveying technical decisions and trade-offs to engineering peers and product stakeholders in English.
