Senior Backend Developer, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Crafting clear, maintainable, and scalable JS/TS code with an emphasis on OOP principles.

• Producing comprehensive documentation for the code delivered and the technical choices made.

• Taking charge of designing and adjusting database structures.

• Effectively communicating viable technical solutions.

• Supporting architectural decisions and guiding the long-term technical strategy of the project.

• Actively identifying technical and product-related risks.

• Maintaining ongoing communication with the client.

• Offering the client various options and solutions.

• Demonstrating natural leadership in Backend development.

• Conducting thoughtful peer code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of commercial experience with Node.js.

• Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Express.js and NestJS.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Understanding of design and architectural patterns.

• Basic familiarity with AWS services.

• Fundamental DevOps skills, including Docker and GitHub Actions.

• Extensive knowledge of at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g., Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc.).

• Skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure REST APIs.

• Familiarity with GraphQL.

• Experience utilizing Docker.

• Proficient in working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Experienced in designing and building AI-driven applications or features using existing AI/LLM tools.

• Capable of aligning technical decisions with product and business objectives.

• English proficiency at B2/C1 level.

• Polish proficiency at C1 level.
