This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support customer-facing websites and marketing platforms.
• Assist in integrating Marketing Operations systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) to ensure consistent data flow and automate workflows.
• Contribute to the design and upkeep of databases to meet marketing and customer data requirements, emphasizing reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain APIs and services that connect with third-party platforms and internal tools.
• Help enhance backend code and processes for improved performance, scalability, and stability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
• Diagnose and resolve backend issues, escalating complex problems as necessary.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for systems, integrations, and processes.
• Communicate progress, risks, and status updates to relevant stakeholders effectively.
• Track issues and defects through their complete lifecycle until resolution.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
• 5-8 years of experience in developing and supporting backend systems, APIs, or services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and similar services).
• Proven experience utilizing AI tools and technologies to enhance workflows, improve decision-making, or drive innovation.
• Experience in building or maintaining server-side APIs using Ruby, Python (Django, Flask), Node JS, or similar backend technologies.
• Knowledge of marketing technology stacks and integrations (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms) is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with modern web architectures such as composable or JAMStack environments.
• Capacity to accept feedback, learn swiftly, and continuously develop technical skills.
