
Senior Backend Developer – Java, Microservices, Spring Boot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, enhance, and support backend applications utilizing a microservices architecture, prioritizing high performance, scalability, and best practices in software engineering.
• Create and sustain backend applications using Java 11+.
• Construct and advance microservices leveraging Spring Boot 3.x.
• Design and execute REST APIs adhering to an API First methodology (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Implement both synchronous and asynchronous integrations (Feign Clients, JMS, etc.).
• Model and enforce business rules utilizing JPA (Hibernate and Spring Data).
• Maintain code quality through automated testing and code reviews.
• Engage in agile practices (daily stand-ups, planning, refinement).
• Examine issues, determine root causes, and promote continuous enhancements.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Assist in the technical documentation of solutions and integrations.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficient in Spring Boot 3.x.
• Familiarity with JPA (Hibernate and Spring Data).
• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integrations (Feign, JMS, etc.).
• Experience with API First methodologies (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL).
• Background in development best practices (testing, version control, code review).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (Required).
