Senior Backend Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Design and create the underlying business logic and backend infrastructure of the product.

• Work in tandem with frontend developers to craft and implement functional, high-efficiency APIs.

• Analyze existing company software systems and link applications to relevant data sources.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality and reliability.

• Build automation tools to streamline daily operations.

• Generate high-quality, thoroughly documented, and efficient code.

• Challenge concepts and viewpoints to prevent potential pitfalls and ineffective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a backend developer utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Profound understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID engineering principles.

• Extensive experience in writing and leveraging autonomous, service-oriented RESTful APIs.

• Proven experience in performance tuning for large-scale applications.

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems, which include MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Couchbase.

• Experience integrating with JavaScript frameworks; proficiency in React is advantageous.

• Background in RDBMS, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

• Capability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.

• Knowledge of immutable infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and provisioning tools is a plus.

• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies.

• Preferred experience as a developer within a cross-functional agile team.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to process intricate information effectively.
