Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Backend Developer at Safello, you will play a pivotal role in our development team, responsible for constructing and scaling the APIs that drive our mobile and web applications.

• You will be tasked with writing well-tested, high-performance code while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

• Reporting directly to the CTO, you will also oversee architectural decisions that improve the reliability and scalability of our backend systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 9 years of experience as a Backend Developer, preferably with Java Spring Boot.

• Proficient in SQL, AWS setup, and cloud infrastructure.

• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines as an integral part of your workflow.

• Familiarity with microservice infrastructure and design patterns.

• Experience in developing high-transaction, high-availability systems.

• Capable of writing clean, testable code and conducting thorough code reviews.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and optimize existing services.

• A team-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation.
