Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain our web application.

• Design and manage our data architecture, including schema and table design, relationships, indexing, and query/load optimization that scales as the system evolves.

• Create queues, background jobs, and long-running workflows that remain accurate and dependable under substantial load.

• Participate in architectural decisions, influence the direction of our technology stack, and contribute to the overall product vision.

• Construct resilient pipelines for document and email processing as well as third-party integrations, capable of gracefully handling volume surges.

• Develop and improve agents for our expanding template library.

• Enhance our RAG/knowledge base system (embeddings, semantic search, reranking).

• Operate within an AI-first development environment supported by Claude/Cursor.

• Oversee version control and team collaboration utilizing GitHub.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in business informatics or computer science, OR relevant programming experience, OR automation experience.

• Proficient English skills for clear communication within the team.

• Proficiency in German is not required.

• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage performance pressure effectively.

• Quick learner with a disciplined work approach.
