Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain backend applications utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.

• Implement NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL) database systems.

• Employ Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture principles.

• Develop and execute tests with Jest.

• Enhance backend applications for optimal performance and scalability.

• Ensure the maintainability, readability, and compliance with coding standards of the codebase.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to comprehend requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Integrate backend services with front-end components and external APIs.

• Monitor and resolve production issues, guaranteeing high availability and reliability of backend services.

• Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in backend development.

• Contribute to the development process within an Agile framework.

• Incorporate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Design and develop backend services for functionalities such as user authentication, data processing, and billing.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer with Node.js, specifically using the NestJS framework.

• Proven experience in designing Domain-Driven Design and Hexagonal Architecture.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, including class design, interface definitions, and type management.

• Experience with MongoDB database management.

• Proficient in MySQL or PostgreSQL database systems.

• Familiarity with API integrations and data fetching methodologies.

• Experience utilizing build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures.

• Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.

• English proficiency is preferred, but not required.
