Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

• Work collaboratively with our product team to innovate, develop, and maintain our software offerings.

• Shape Hohm’s architectural vision and adhere to our coding standards.

• Enhance the platform to ensure it is highly secure, resilient, and scalable.

• Utilize ongoing feedback to continuously refine our product and engineering workflows.

• Offer support and guidance to the software engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant industry experience.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying secure and scalable applications.

• A keen interest or experience in the Solar and/or Renewable energy sector.

• Background in a startup environment.

• Over 6 years of experience in software development.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in building APIs is essential.

• At least 4 years of experience with Node.js and Typescript is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with SQL is necessary.

• Candidates should be located within 4 hours of South Africa Standard Time (GMT +2).
