Senior Backend Developer – API Design, Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and manage scalable services.

• Build production-quality APIs and microservices.

• Work in close collaboration with architecture and data engineering teams.

• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to colleagues.

• Oversee features from initial design through to deployment.

• Senior point of contact for API Design & Development.

• High-level proficiency in Python.

• Experience in production environments using FastAPI.

• Strong skills in Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.

• Significant practical experience with Domain-Driven Design.

• Excellent understanding of profiling and caching strategies.

• Expertise in RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Strong SQL capabilities, particularly with PostgreSQL.

• Extensive experience using Neo4j.

• Familiarity with geospatial data.
