Senior Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and support medium to high-complexity features within backend applications.

• Suggest and implement architectural enhancements aimed at improving scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Identify and resolve incidents as well as critical bugs in production settings.

• Create and enhance REST APIs utilizing Python and FastAPI, adhering to industry best practices.

• Guarantee the high quality of deliverables through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation for systems, integrations, and components.

• Share expertise, mentor less experienced developers, and engage in technical discussions.

• Actively engage in agile processes, contributing to backlog refinement, estimations, and delivery planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python and FastAPI.

• Understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and system integrations.

• Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and both relational and non-relational databases.

• Advanced knowledge of Git and collaborative development processes.

• Experience in unit and integration testing as well as software quality strategies.

• Capability to identify bottlenecks and enhance application performance.

• Strong grasp of Clean Code principles, SOLID, and design patterns.
