Senior Back End Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

• Development of robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services.

• Design, evolution, and optimization of REST APIs.

• Implementation of event-driven integrations (Kafka).

• Application of best development practices and quality standards.

• Technical support and mentoring for junior profiles.

• Active participation in multidisciplinary agile teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer.

• Proficiency in Java 8 or higher with Spring Framework.

• Advanced experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Strong knowledge of unit testing, TDD, and BDD.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.

• Experience working with Kafka in distributed environments.

• Previous experience in mentoring or providing technical support to junior profiles.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (desirable, not mandatory).

• Experience with Quarkus (minimum of 2 years).

• Understanding of Clean Code principles and SOLID principles.

• Proficiency in code quality tools such as SonarQube.

• Certifications in agile methodologies.

• Technical certifications in Java technologies.
