This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain intricate WordPress solutions, encompassing custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.

• Convert technical architecture and requirements into scalable and maintainable back-end code.

• Assist with headless and decoupled WordPress solutions as directed by Technical Architects.

• Integrate third-party platforms and APIs (such as Salesforce and ServiceNow) to enhance functionality and address client needs.

• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to boost efficiency and improve code quality.

• Offer insights on feasibility, performance, and implementation strategies during project planning.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues to maintain the stability and success of our platforms.

• Act as a contributor with extensive expertise in back-end development and WordPress.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and development tools.

• Assist in solving intricate technical challenges and disseminate knowledge across teams.

• Participate in the development of internal tools and open-source initiatives that enhance delivery quality and efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related domain.

• In-depth knowledge of PHP and WordPress back-end development.

• Extensive experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.

• Strong grasp of JavaScript, CSS, and contemporary web development practices.

• Comprehensive understanding of database design, implementation, and optimization.

• Familiarity with other CMS platforms (such as Drupal, Craft, Payload) is advantageous.

• Experience with integrating third-party APIs and enterprise platforms.

• Proficiency in Git and modern development methodologies.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.

• Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing secure, high-quality code.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident eligible to work domestically.

• Capable of obtaining a low-level security clearance.
