Senior Back end Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and manage Data Pipelines: Create and take ownership of systems that process vast datasets from over 130 different carriers, ensuring their high availability and reliability.

• Navigate Data Complexity: Develop robust logic to manage various data configurations, guaranteeing accuracy in our essential commission and platform features.

• Maintain Data Quality: Employ advanced patterns and monitoring techniques to pinpoint and resolve data quality issues prior to their impact on the business.

• Enhance Asynchronous Systems: Fine-tune our event-driven architecture for efficient, real-time data processing at scale.

• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance and Business teams to convert intricate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 6+ years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on backend systems and complex data processing.

• You have extensive data expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing systems that manage large, diverse datasets and complex integrations.

• You exhibit technical proficiency: Skilled in Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.

• You have a strong architectural foundation: A significant background in asynchronous system architecture and a keen eye for effective design patterns.

• You embody a Startup Mindset: High ownership and the capability to thrive in ambiguity. We seek individuals eager to build and grow, rather than merely maintain.

• You are located in Poland with the flexibility to overlap partially with US time zones.
