Senior Back-End Developer, Ruby/Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Creating and executing intricate workflows, APIs, and UI backends for payment systems.

• Engaging in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) utilizing various tools such as RSpec.

• Participating in the scaling of highly reliable payment services aiming for 99.99% uptime.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-4+ years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

• Proficiency in database management with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.

• Experience with JavaScript.

• Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies and RSpec.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Considered an advantage:

• Experience in developing APIs adhering to the latest standards.

• Familiarity with React and Redux.

• Experience with Redis.

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ.

• Experience with GraphQL.

• Understanding of web security principles.

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Previous experience in the payments sector.
