Senior Back End Developer, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and improve Node.js applications

• Engage in architectural discussions, suggesting scalable and high-performance solutions

• Connect applications with both relational and non-relational databases, as well as internal and external APIs

• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of development processes (CI/CD, test automation, code reviews)

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps, design) to ensure valuable outcomes

• Diagnose complex problems and provide support for critical production environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js development

• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with contemporary frameworks (Express, NestJS, or similar)

• Background in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)

• Practical experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

• Understanding of REST and GraphQL API integration

• Familiarity with automated testing and best practices for clean code

• Hands-on experience with messaging systems and asynchronous processing, particularly with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS
