This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design and maintain Java applications and microservices utilizing Spring Boot.

• Engage with legacy systems (Struts, Servlets, JSP, PrimeFaces).

• Implement containerization through Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.

• Create data streaming solutions using Kafka and Kafka Streams.

• Ensure high code quality by adhering to best practices and conducting testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.

• Document processes and architectural choices.

• Monitor and resolve issues in production environments.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Proficient in software engineering, with applicable experience in Java and/or JVM-based languages.

• Experience in developing and managing systems using Java, microservices, and APIs.

• Knowledge of service containerization (Docker, Kubernetes — e.g., vanilla Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift, etc.).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, StarTeam).

• Experience with continuous integration, automated deployment, and unit testing; knowledge of TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Experience with both private and public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
