Senior Automation QA, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with evaluating the existing testing processes and proposing enhancements.

• You will create and sustain test automation scripts.

• You will work together with the development team to ascertain testing requirements.

• You will engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to quality best practices.

• You will provide updates on testing progress and communicate any challenges to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in software test automation.

• You have a solid understanding of Java.

• You are capable of structuring, designing, and planning test scenarios and test cases.

• You are knowledgeable about RestAssured.

• You have experience in backend test automation.

• You understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• You can design and implement a test automation framework.

• You are familiar with best practices in test automation and can review test frameworks.

• You have knowledge of web technologies.

• You are acquainted with web Spring.

• You have a strong desire to learn and share knowledge.

• You are known for your independence, ability to meet deadlines, and strong analytical skills.

• You can operate with minimal documentation.

• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and understand how automated tests fit into continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.

• You have experience with AI-powered tools for test generation, flaky test triage, coverage analysis, or test deduplication.

• You have the ability to assess and integrate AI tools pragmatically into an existing automation workflow.
