This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Assume complete responsibility for the current end-to-end automation framework (Playwright + WebdriverIO/Appium).
• Establish and lead the quality strategy across both web and mobile platforms.
• Detect coverage gaps, prioritize testing efforts, and synchronize quality initiatives with product launches.
• Manage the Android mobile test suite (WebdriverIO + Appium + uiautomator2) — ensuring maintenance, enhancements, and improved reliability.
• Broaden iOS automation coverage by building on existing efforts.
• Guarantee cross-platform consistency between our iOS and Android applications.
• Maintain and expand the Playwright web test suite (Chromium + Mobile Safari).
• Oversee API-level test coverage and validate webhook flows.
• Manage the CI/CD pipelines for automated testing (self-hosted runners and nightly schedules).
• Enhance test reliability, parallel execution, and reporting (Playwright HTML + Allure).
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure environment stability and access to infrastructure.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to integrate quality early in the development process.
• Convert product requirements into comprehensive test coverage with a clear focus on risk.
• Clearly communicate automation coverage, gaps, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of experience in QA automation, particularly in mobile automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium (Android) and proven or substantial exposure to iOS automation (Appium on iOS or XCUITest).
• Proficient in Playwright or a similar modern end-to-end framework.
• Comfortable with API testing, direct database interactions (PostgreSQL), and managing authentication flows (Firebase or similar).
• Experience in owning and maintaining GitHub Actions (or similar) pipelines for automated test execution.
• Think in terms of risk rather than just test cases; participate in planning sessions, not only sprint reviews.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher (B2+).
• Full accountability for automation quality on a platform utilized by millions — your contributions yield immediate, measurable results.
• A well-established automation codebase to inherit and develop, rather than starting from scratch on day one.
• A dynamic environment where quality enhancements directly impact user experience and revenue.
• A culture of technical rigor that includes code reviews, early engagement in feature design, and the expectation that your input influences our development processes.
• 15 days of paid vacation.
• 5 days of paid time off.
• 5 days of paid sick leave.
• Maternity/Paternity leave.
• National holidays based on your country of residence.
