This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Manage Jira Server / Data Center, Confluence, and Atlassian Cloud environments.
• Set up and maintain workflows, permissions, dashboards, JQL, automations, integrations, and plugins.
• Oversee Jira performance, diagnose issues, and enhance platform stability and reliability.
• Assist with maintenance, upgrades, housekeeping, and incident resolution.
• Strengthen Jira governance and minimize configuration debt.
• Streamline routine administrative tasks using ScriptRunner, REST API, and scripting tools.
• Partner with Infra, SRE, DBA, and engineering teams to address system and performance challenges.
• Over 3 years of experience in Jira Server / Jira Data Center and Confluence administration.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Jira as a key internal platform, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, users, groups, dashboards, JQL, and reporting.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Jira Server issues: logs, indexing, performance bottlenecks, slow queries, plugins, and integrations.
• Knowledge of Jira architecture, JVM fundamentals, indexing, and the performance impact of customizations.
• Experience with REST API, ScriptRunner, webhooks, and administrative automation.
• Capability to write and maintain Groovy, Python, or Bash scripts for operational tasks.
• Familiarity with Jira / Confluence Cloud administration is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in Russian and English, both written and verbal.
