This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The role of the Technical Analyst involves serving as a bridge between business/end users and IT systems development teams to address business needs that require technical solutions.
• Converting business requirements into technical documents.
• Developing clear and comprehensible technical designs that align with the system’s architecture and can scale appropriately.
• Producing high-quality code that is clean, logically sound, well-tested, well-organized, and delivered promptly.
• Engaging in code reviews, offering and integrating constructive feedback to maintain code quality and uniformity.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across application and database layers.
• Writing, optimizing, and maintaining T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Recommending solutions or enhancements to business processes achievable through new technologies or alternative applications of existing technologies.
• Developing server applications utilizing programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, etc.
• Leading, mentoring, and delegating tasks to junior and mid-level engineers to foster skill development and ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
• Conducting comprehensive code reviews and evaluating spike documentation to maintain technical standards, architectural alignment, and best practices.
• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and maintainable software components in accordance with established architectural guidelines.
• Creating detailed technical designs and specifications that support both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Assisting developers in diagnosing and resolving technical challenges, providing expertise to eliminate obstacles and enhance overall solution quality.
• Mentoring engineers in their technical growth and career progression, aiding them in developing structured and actionable development roadmaps.
• Collaborating with Product Owners during PI Planning and Sprint Planning to refine requirements, estimate effort, and align technical deliverables with business priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field that includes coursework in programming.
• Over 5 years of experience participating in client-facing requirement and solution design sessions, effectively using technical terminology to convey requirements and proposed solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent).
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• At least 2 years of experience in client-facing requirement and solution design sessions, adeptly using appropriate technical terminology.
• Demonstrated capability to design, develop, and maintain complex object-oriented applications using languages like Java and C++, applying OOP principles effectively.
• Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data structures.
• Understanding of standard software development methodologies and frameworks, including SDLC, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Agile/Scrum or RUP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to decompose moderately complex systems and processes.
• Quick aptitude for learning and comprehending business processes, system integrations, and technical architectures.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Scrum Masters, System Testers, and clients, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
