Senior Associate, Inventory Valuation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create dynamic Excel-based valuation models for comprehensive inventory analysis.

• Execute valuation evaluations within orderly liquidation scenarios.

• Perform detailed inventory reconciliations, alongside sales, gross margin, and expense analyses across various industries.

• Assist in inventory appraisals to support evaluations of asset-based lending (ABL) facilities.

• Work closely with senior leaders and the internal ABL team to grasp requirements, process flow, and key valuation factors.

• Contribute to the growth of the firm’s valuation services, particularly in the area of inventory appraisal.

• Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the business valuation process (manage the receipt of financial documents, address inquiries as needed, and deliver the completed valuation report).

• Engage in business development initiatives as desired (attending conferences and networking events).

• Collaborate on projects with the division Director as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory valuation is required.

• A professional designation (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV) is preferred.

• Experience in machinery and equipment valuation is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.

• A solid understanding of economics, financial theory, and/or accounting principles is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and research capabilities.

• Excellent organizational skills, particularly the ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

• Capacity to effectively multitask while working independently or as part of a team.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects at once.

• Skill in engaging with professionals at all levels successfully.
