This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Assist in the design, execution, promotion, and evaluation of offerings from the Grassroots Justice Network Academy.
• Foster community engagement and offer logistical assistance for courses, workshops, working groups, labs, incubators, and action grants.
• Oversee logistics and planning for global learning events, such as webinars, live sessions, workshops, and labs.
• Upload materials and create lessons, courses, and learning paths within the Academy's learning platform.
• Curate and enhance audiovisual educational materials, review captions, and ensure timely updates.
• Manage users and groups on the Academy's learning platform.
• Support discussion forums by responding to inquiries, moderating discussions, and promoting participation.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new learning tools, features, and platforms.
• Create member profiles, conduct quarterly and impact interviews, and produce programmatic write-ups.
• Assist with procurement and agreements involving vendors, consultants, faculty, and partners.
• Organize and coordinate activities and events in Latin America, both virtual and in-person.
• Manage calls with the Strategic Regional Council in Latin America and follow up on activities, commitments, and documentation.
• Handle regional email and Academy group communications, including WhatsApp and social media interactions.
• Onboard new members and act as the primary contact for inquiries, requests, and referrals.
• Coordinate interpretation and translation services while tracking associated expenses.
• Review translations between English and Spanish and potentially translate brief texts, emails, learning platform pages, and communications.
• Engage in coordination meetings and team check-ins.
• Assist in monitoring quarterly and annual engagement data.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, capable of participating in meetings and preparing notes and reports in either language.
• Fluency in Portuguese and/or French is an advantage.
• A minimum of two years of operational support experience related to program implementation.
• Proven track record of excellence, dependability, speed, and precision.
• Resourceful problem-solving abilities and a personal drive to enhance processes.
• Capacity to work autonomously.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities with sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
• Thoroughness and capability to navigate complex, multi-step processes effectively.
• Proficiency in producing high-quality content within deadlines.
• Collaborative, empathetic, and service-oriented demeanor.
• Growth-oriented attitude and openness to feedback.
• Must be a citizen of Mexico.
• Must reside in Mexico or be willing to relocate there; no relocation assistance is provided.
• Willingness to occasionally work non-standard hours across different time zones.
• Openness to undertake occasional regional or international travel.
