This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in a leadership role collaborating with customers and SI Partners in the adoption of the Guidewire Data Platform.
• Foster agreement among stakeholders regarding enterprise data transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and Guidewire team members to successfully execute data transformation projects.
• Implement best practices in design, development, and delivery by adopting an AI-forward approach.
• Oversee the complete data loading process, including pre-load validation, execution of loading jobs, and post-load verification.
• Enhance processes by optimizing and enabling AI within Guidewire Data Platform and analytics solutions.
• Develop new tools to streamline data processing whenever possible.
• Facilitate Inception Sessions to establish consensus on project scope, create user stories with acceptance criteria, and support the advancement of the Guidewire Vantage Methodology.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent level of demonstrable professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in a senior technical role focused on building complex Data Integration frameworks.
• Profound knowledge of the P&C insurance domain, encompassing concepts such as policies, claims, billing, and underwriting.
• Fundamental understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite Applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and ContactManager) at a granular level.
• If specializing in the Ingress to InsuranceSuite Applications from Legacy Sources, relevant experience in migrating to Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications is essential.
• If focusing on the Egress side, familiarity with at least one technology stack, including AWS, DataBricks, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery, is required.
• For those specializing in statutory and regulatory reporting and analytics, a comprehensive knowledge of P&C Insurance and Workers Compensation domain concepts, requirements gathering, BI architecture, and delivery template design and automation is necessary.
• Strong expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts.
• At least 5 years of involvement in Data Warehousing projects.
• More than 5 years of experience leading BI developers and architects to deliver complete solution stacks.
• Over 5 years of experience with data processing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, and Transform) methodologies.
• At least 3 years of experience leading design review sessions to achieve consensus among diverse technical and business stakeholders.
• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role focused on delivering complex data transformation initiatives, including mentoring and team development.
• Experience in Guidewire Data Migration/Data Platform projects.
• Background in working with relational databases.
• Proven experience collaborating with customer teams to understand business objectives and functional requirements.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as within a team.
