Senior Applied Scientist – AI/ML, Inbound Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions to address business challenges.

• Ensure code is clean, efficient, and scalable, adhering to industry standards.

• Analyze extensive datasets to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making.

• Utilize cutting-edge Machine Learning methodologies and frameworks to create robust and scalable models.

• Shape technical direction and take responsibility for essential components of systems and solutions, guaranteeing alignment with business requirements.

• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in creating data-driven solutions and deployable products.

• Provide mentorship to team members to foster domain expertise within the team.

• Enhance the company’s intellectual property and technical leadership by contributing to patents and publications in leading conferences and journals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of industry experience in Computer Vision and applied Machine Learning.

• A Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, statistics, or a related field, or more than 8 years of industry experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in building, deploying, and managing machine learning and deep learning models in large-scale production environments.

• Profound knowledge of Computer Vision and ML algorithms/techniques (CNNs, transformers, GANs, optimizers, regularization) as well as experiment design and best practices (A/B testing, training/serving pipelines, feature engineering).

• Significant experience with scientific libraries in Python (numpy, pandas) and Machine Learning tools and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn).

• Strong data engineering capabilities and experience working with large datasets.

• Familiarity with experiment automation frameworks (Ray Tune, W&B, Kubeflow).

• Proficiency with cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Advanced proficiency in Python.
