• We are developing AI/ML capabilities for aviation maintenance and operations software that is utilized worldwide by airlines, MROs, and CAMOs. You will tackle genuine challenges using actual operational data — forecasting component failures, identifying anomalies in real-time operations, analyzing decades of maintenance records, and ensuring models perform consistently in scenarios where downtime impacts flight schedules. ** ** This role emphasizes practical engineering: model creation, data pipelines, deployment, and monitoring. It is not advisory and does not involve merely fine-tuning a chatbot.** ****About OASES: **
• Our Aviation division provides essential software solutions that enable airlines, airports, and aviation service providers to operate efficiently and safely. Ranging from maintenance scheduling and flight operations to compliance and resource management, our products assist clients in optimizing performance, minimizing costs, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• As part of an international network of specialized software firms, our aviation teams operate with entrepreneurial flexibility while leveraging shared expertise, innovation, and best practices from the broader Valsoft group.
• **About Valsoft Corp: **
• Founded in Canada in 2015, Valsoft has expanded to a global portfolio of over 120 companies, acquiring and developing vertical market software firms, allowing each business to provide optimal mission-critical solutions for clients within their industries. A core principle of Valsoft’s philosophy is to invest in established businesses and cultivate an entrepreneurial environment that transforms companies into leaders in their respective fields. Valsoft aims to acquire, hold, and create value through long-standing partnerships with existing management.
• **Key Responsibilities:**
• - Predictive maintenance — developing remaining-useful-life models for components and predicting failures from sensor and event data.
• - Anomaly detection — identifying operational deviations across fleets in real-time.
• - Maintenance NLP — deriving structured insights from years of free-text maintenance logs and defect reports.
• - Operational forecasting — anticipating parts demand, planning loads, and identifying workflow bottlenecks.
• - AI-assisted knowledge access — utilizing RAG and search techniques over technical manuals, regulatory documents, and internal operational knowledge.
• - Productionisation — ensuring all the above runs reliably, is observable, and scales effectively.
• ** **Requirements:**
• We seek an individual who comprehends the construction of AI systems — not merely the application of AI tools.
• Significant experience in several of the following areas:
• - Development and training of machine learning models.
• - Time-series analysis and predictive analytics.
• - LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector search.
• - Operational telemetry and data pipelines.
• - MLOps and scalable AI deployment.
• - Proficiency in Python and backend engineering.
• - API and distributed systems design.
• **Strong advantages:** experience in aviation, predictive maintenance, industrial IoT, large-scale time-series forecasting, or production LLM deployment.
• We are looking for an engineer who can build operational AI systems that:
• - Learn from operational data.
• - Enhance real-time decision-making.
• - Integrate seamlessly into production aviation workflows.
• - Scale reliably within operational environments.
• **Why Join Us: **
• This is a chance to influence the future of operational aviation software and real-time operational intelligence throughout a global aviation software portfolio.
