Senior Applied AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Transform partially-developed AI prototypes from stakeholders into production-ready, multi-user internal tools.

• Design, construct, and manage multi-agent and multi-skill workflows utilizing Claude, MCP, and tool utilization.

• Develop and maintain internal AI tools that staff rely on daily, including intake assistants, review aids, knowledge repositories, automation processes, and content generation systems.

• Create monitoring, evaluation, and validation frameworks to detect model drift, hallucinations, or diminished outputs before they impact the team.

• Oversee prompt versioning, skill versioning, documentation, and change management controls.

• Seamlessly integrate external APIs and data sources (such as TikTok, Reddit, Apify, Amazon, and internal data) into AI workflows in a reliable and secure manner.

• Remain at the forefront of Anthropic and other AI developments, exploring frontier model capabilities and the wider AI tools ecosystem; proactively incorporate new capabilities into our technology stack.

• Assist in merging disparate internal tools into a cohesive internal platform (“Triquetra OS”) over time.

• Create essential, functional prototypes for customer-oriented AI features aligned with our platform vision; collaborate with external developers for production optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in building production-level LLM applications — beyond mere proofs of concept.

• Extensive, hands-on experience in prompt engineering across intricate multi-step workflows.

• Proven capability to manage a system from start to finish: design, implement, monitor, and enhance.

• Strong discernment regarding AI output quality — able to recognize when a model is incorrect and knowledgeable about rectifying it.

• Experience with the integration and upkeep of third-party APIs in live operational environments.

• Proficient in written English and capable of clear communication with non-technical stakeholders, translating vague requests into functional systems.

• Strong ability to work asynchronously and autonomously — able to navigate obstacles without the need for meetings.
