This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated analytics and data exploitation solutions for DataBee’s SaaS platform focused on security, risk, and compliance.
• Derive knowledge and insights from extensive, high-dimensional datasets utilizing data preparation, modeling, analysis, visualization, statistical analysis, algorithms, predictive modeling, experimentation, and pattern recognition.
• Offer technical leadership, subject matter expertise, strategic direction, architectural guidance, and mentorship within a globally distributed engineering team.
• Collaborate with product and field engineering teams to pinpoint inquiries and challenges related to data analysis and experimentation.
• Spearhead the development and coding of software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and assess large datasets.
• Formulate and execute statistical and mathematical solutions addressing business challenges.
• Construct data-mining architectures, models, protocols, statistical reporting, and data-analysis methodologies.
• Evaluate historical customer behavior and product-performance trends from large, intricate datasets.
• Develop and implement predictive models aimed at forecasting future customer behavior.
• Investigate, educate, and apply data-science principles, theories, and techniques to guide business decisions.
• Create deliverables and presentations that articulate analysis methodology and findings.
• Develop customer-centric models and optimization tools using both streaming and at-rest processing over structured and unstructured data.
• Comprehend platform usage and assist with production deployments and customer issue triage.
• Develop security features and embrace DevSecOps practices.
• Identify and address production incidents.
• Construct reusable software components, libraries, microservices, and APIs.
• Leverage content-management systems, global design patterns, and established coding standards and practices.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in substantial matters.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance while demonstrating flexibility in scheduling.
• 7–10 years of pertinent work experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; candidates with relevant coursework and experience or extensive related professional background may also be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience in developing and implementing microservices that feature complex analytical logic.
• Expertise in working with cybersecurity datasets and utilizing machine-learning techniques for security compliance and/or threat hunting.
• Experience in parsing and cleansing data.
• Familiarity with applying machine learning to data parsing and normalization is highly preferred.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications powered by Large Language Models, including conversational AI, chatbots, and AI assistants.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, semantic search, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Experience in integrating foundation models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLMs into production applications through APIs and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in evaluating, fine-tuning, and optimizing LLM-based solutions, including model selection, prompt optimization, guardrails, and performance evaluation.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, model monitoring, and security considerations for generative AI applications.
• Experience in building scalable AI/ML pipelines and deploying models utilizing MLOps best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum development environments.
• Experience with GitHub and Jira or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in using Python unit-test frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Background in developing on a SaaS product.
• Experience with distributed data-processing technologies such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink is highly desirable.
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
