Senior Application Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Ensure the safety and security of Pennylane’s application and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with the Product Team to embed security within features throughout the design and delivery process.

• Perform code reviews with a focus on secure development practices.

• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend corresponding patches.

• Enhance the security standards of CI/CD configurations.

• Safeguard AWS infrastructure, including the Kubernetes environment.

• Conduct regular security assessments on both applications and infrastructure.

• Participate in security incidents, analyze logs, and mitigate attacks.

• Ensure adherence to ISO 27001 controls pertaining to development.

• Develop and refine secure development training materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capable of conducting offensive security assessments on both infrastructure and applications.

• Proficient in exploiting and resolving a broad spectrum of web vulnerabilities.

• Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, and JavaScript.

• Background in cloud infrastructure security.

• Fluent in French and/or English, both spoken and written.

• Possess humility.

• A team-oriented individual who can collaborate with remote colleagues.

• Proactive, organized, and quick to learn.
