Senior Application Engineer – South America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Deliver metallurgical and mineral processing expertise to the customer-facing team for the implementation of GLT processes.

• Assist in business development initiatives aimed at promoting the adoption of GLT technologies.

• Act as the primary liaison between the customer-facing team and the end customer.

• Aid customers in the implementation and delivery of GlyCat technology.

• Offer essential technical support for development and deployment.

• Identify and cultivate relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, and ideally a master’s degree, in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering.

• Professional proficiency in MS Office.

• Capability to read, write, and converse in Spanish, with proficiency in English being preferable.

• Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes (up to 50% of working days per year).

• Must possess the appropriate work rights in Peru.

• Familiarity with providing technical support for new leaching technologies within the sales business.

• Comprehensive understanding of industrial metals recovery processes and the metallurgy of metals.

• A minimum of 10+ years of relevant full-time work experience post-graduation, including at least 5 years in an operational role at a gold mine site, with a preference for 3+ years in a metallurgical laboratory.
