Senior Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with Business Owners and the technical team to execute strategies, design enhancements, integrate with both internal and external partners, and maintain the QicLink system.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, test, and coordinate efforts to resolve reported software, data, or technical issues related to Cognizant QicLink software programs and associated applications.

• Provide assistance in resolving QicLink data requests and issues.

• Offer technical support for the QicLink system.

• Deliver high-level resolution estimates as required.

• Identify opportunities to enhance performance and reduce defects.

• Engage in software testing, quality assurance, patch releases, and software upgrades.

• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years in a related role is required.

• Proficiency in SQL, SSIS, and data manipulation.

• Previous experience with the Cognizant QicLink system.

• Familiarity with EDI, APIs, and Web Services is advantageous.

• Understanding of healthcare claims processing and eligibility.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Excellent customer service skills, ideally in a technical implementation role.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Capacity to manage multiple requests simultaneously.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience in a fast-paced Agile environment is beneficial.

• Strong interest in automation and a knack for identifying process gaps.

• Strong bias for action with the ability to take ownership and think long-term.

• Experience in healthcare is a plus.
