Identity & Application Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee identity, access management, authentication, and governance systems.

• Administer user lifecycle automation, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control measures.

• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other related services.

• Provide support for the administration, integration, lifecycle management, and operational stability of enterprise business applications and their underlying infrastructure.

• Oversee privileged access and credential management solutions.

• Create automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, Power Automate, and related technologies.

• Assist in meeting compliance, security, audit, and governance standards.

• Act as a Tier III escalation resource and engage in infrastructure and application modernization projects.

• Keep system documentation, standards, and operational procedures up to date.

• Work collaboratively with Infrastructure, Security, HR, and Business Operations teams to enhance efficiency and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be accepted.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing enterprise identity, application, infrastructure, or cloud platforms.

• Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity environments.

• Familiarity with administering Microsoft 365 technologies.

• Knowledge of authentication technologies, including SSO, MFA, identity governance, and access management.

• Experience in supporting SQL Server administration, database integrations, or application infrastructure platforms.

• Proven experience in developing automation solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate, or similar technologies.

• Background in supporting security, compliance, governance, and audit-related initiatives.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving.
