This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Design and implement IT application architecture solutions that comply with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
• Conduct technical planning and develop or modify architecture specifications.
• Create specifications for new products, services, applications, and service offerings.
• Evaluate the compatibility and integration of proposed standard products and services.
• Ensure cohesive architecture across interdependent applications.
• Influence the strategic direction of the department.
• Make decisions on the technical approach for project components.
• Produce architecture artifacts such as diagrams, technical specifications, decision records, and roadmaps.
• Independently address moderately complex to complex issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7 or more years of experience as a senior developer involved in large IT projects.
• Previous experience as a project architect and/or team leader.
• At least 3 years of project experience with AI, cloud platforms, and HR platform SaaS applications.
• Profound knowledge of application architecture principles, design patterns, integration patterns, and software engineering practices.
• Experience in designing enterprise applications utilizing APIs, microservices, containers, cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with security-by-design principles, identity and access management, data protection, and secure coding practices.
• Capability to produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications, decision records, and roadmaps.
• Ability to provide high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office setting.
• Minimum internet speed requirements of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Satellite and wireless internet services are prohibited.
