This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Install, configure, and deploy workflow technologies tailored for a federal environment.
• Integrate Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions with RegScale and Axonius.
• Troubleshoot automation solutions, scripts, and SOAR platforms effectively.
• Create custom scripts and content to bolster automation initiatives.
• Automate processes related to cybersecurity and compliance.
• Conduct quality reviews of custom scripts and developed content.
• Employ best practices by utilizing configuration control and code retention tools such as GitHub.
• Engage in documented change control processes.
• Research and document cybersecurity processes, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) 2.0 and Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM).
• Interview cyber practitioners to capture existing cybersecurity processes.
• Review and suggest improvements to cybersecurity processes.
• Collaborate with cyber practitioners to refine automation content and ensure that mission requirements are satisfied.
• Capture, refine, and enhance development processes and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Cybersecurity, Data, or a related field.
• One or more of the following certifications: (ISC)2 Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security + (Sec+), CAP, CISA, CISM, SSCP, Network + (N+), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in development or scripting and 2 years in cybersecurity operations (excluding policy).
• Experience in SOAR development.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity functions and processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of RMF functions and processes.
• Proficiency in utilizing code repositories like GitHub.
• Experience in developing custom scripts and content to facilitate automation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating with and interviewing cyber practitioners.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex requirements and convert them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, in accordance with federal contract requirements.
