This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design and sustain sophisticated character animation systems utilizing UE4/UE5.
• Innovate, explore, and create new animation methodologies, including procedural or physics-based animation and motion matching.
• Collaborate closely with riggers, animators, designers, and various teams to enhance the animation pipeline and improve workflow efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize the integration between technical animation, AI, physics, and network systems.
• Proficient in C++ programming.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in AAA game development.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete animation pipeline, from motion capture to in-game implementation.
• Direct experience with standard animation methods, including rigging, skeletons, state machines, ragdolls, inverse kinematics, compression, morph targets, and facial animation.
• Familiarity with and basic knowledge of animation tools such as Havok Behavior, Morpheme, and Natural Motion.
• Experience with advanced animation techniques, including motion matching and procedural or physics-based animation.
• Proficient in various animation software, including Maya, 3DS Max, and Motion Builder.
• Strong grasp of the animation pipeline along with team collaboration practices.
• Familiar with software management systems like JIRA or comparable tools.
