Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement new features for Finom’s Android application utilized by business owners throughout Europe.

• Design and execute solutions for managing multi-account cash flow, banking transactions, payments, physical and virtual card issuance and control, as well as AI-driven accounting automation.

• Create sleek, responsive user interfaces utilizing Jetpack Compose.

• Ensure code quality, performance, and stability through automated testing and comprehensive code reviews.

• Collaborate with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams to provide end-to-end solutions.

• Influence technical decisions within the domain and identify areas for enhancement.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile development best practices.

• Shape architectural decisions, enhance engineering quality, and provide mentorship to engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Android development experience.

• Proficient in Kotlin; knowledge of Java is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.

• Familiarity with MVI, MVVM, and MVP presentation patterns.

• Experience with RxJava and Kotlin Coroutines / Flow.

• Background in using Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin.

• Proficient with Retrofit.

• Experience with Cicerone or Jetpack Navigation Component.

• Skilled in Jetpack Compose.

• Hands-on experience with Firebase, including FCM, Analytics, and Crashlytics.

• Familiar with feature-module architecture in a production environment.

• Proficient with Git / GitLab and managing GitLab CI/CD.

• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in English to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in fintech or financial product development is a plus.

• Familiarity with mobile security best practices, performance profiling, published Google Play apps, GitHub, and AI tooling experience is desirable.
