β’ Act as the key analytical resource for assessing what strategies are effective and which are not across the organization.
β’ Evaluate product performance through metrics such as LTV, refunds, and churn to determine which offerings deliver value.
β’ Develop and track retention curves segmented by cohort, acquisition channel, and product combination.
β’ Identify points of customer attrition throughout the lifecycle and present actionable insights.
β’ Assess the quality of acquisition channels based on subsequent retention and churn patterns.
β’ Discover unexplored growth potential within the current customer base.
β’ Manage and update dashboards, performing ad hoc analyses for the leadership team.
β’ Proactively present insights and trends without needing to be prompted.
β’ Collaborate with the CRO manager on analysis of experimentation.
β’ Foster alignment among teams on defining and measuring key metrics, ensuring a unified source of truth for all.
β’ Work alongside the marketing team on acquisition analytics.
β’ Assist leadership with strategic inquiries and decision-making processes.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in analytics within a DTC, subscription, or e-commerce setting; experience in telemedicine or health/wellness is highly advantageous.
β’ Proficient in SQL β including window functions, CTEs, rolling metrics, and cohort queries.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of subscription metrics: LTV, CAC, payback period, cohort retention, reorder curves, winback economics β with an understanding of the distinctions between customer retention and revenue retention.
β’ Experience in creating dashboards in Looker, Mode, Hex, Metabase, or similar platforms, with a clear understanding of what constitutes a functional versus a decorative dashboard.
β’ Strong analytical skills β capable of formulating the right questions before engaging with the data.
