Senior Analytics Engineer – ProdOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines at scale, accommodating both batch and streaming processes.

• Create comprehensive data products including dashboards, automated alerts, internal tools, and self-service frameworks for Product and Operations teams.

• Consolidate data from various platforms and tools like Azure, GitHub, Mixpanel, ADP, Notion, Google Sheets, and several APIs to provide a cohesive and strategic overview of operations.

• Develop dependable, scalable, and governed data models to ensure data integrity, traceability, and uniformity.

• Spearhead refactoring projects and reorganize legacy environments, promoting continuous enhancements in architecture and performance.

• Apply analytics engineering best practices, which include version control, automated testing, observability, and monitoring.

• Streamline operational and governance workflows through the use of integrations, APIs, alerts, and data-driven solutions.

• Partner with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Operations, and leadership to convert strategic requirements into scalable solutions.

• Serve as a technical authority for decisions pertaining to the architecture and development of the data ecosystem.

• Cultivate a data-centric culture that empowers teams to independently leverage reliable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in comparable roles.

• Advanced skills in SQL and Python.

• Proficient with Data Warehouse/Lakehouse solutions, especially Databricks, BigQuery, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with data transformation and modeling tools like dbt.

• Experience in API ingestion and integration.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar.

• Experience with cloud architectures, particularly Microsoft Azure.

• Understanding of distributed processing technologies and large-scale data systems, including Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.

• Proficient in observability, automated testing, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices.

• Ability to navigate seamlessly between technical and business environments.

• Strong communication skills that are clear, didactic, and oriented towards influence.

• Proficiency in advanced English for reading and writing purposes.
