Senior Analytics Engineer – ETL/ELT Focused, Design Marketplace

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Engage in vendor scoping sessions to finalize comprehensive table and field requirements prior to the commencement of the build phase.

• Construct a dedicated datamart within the dbt transformations marts layer, sourcing data from essential order, line item, and customer tables.

• Convert vendor schema specifications into precise internal field mappings, accurately addressing DTC-adjusted logic such as ship-to addresses, order dates, and customer granularity.

• Set up Snowflake data sharing and connections to ensure smooth vendor ingestion.

• Develop thorough dbt tests and documentation for all implemented models to guarantee long-term data quality and transparency.

• Oversee the entire merge request workflow using GitLab, complying with rigorous peer review processes prior to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated capability to independently manage complex technical requirements with minimal supervision.

• Strong expertise in SQL, with extensive experience analyzing source tables related to orders, customers, and attribution models.

• Advanced experience with dbt Core and dbt Cloud, including the development of mart models and writing MetricFlow-compatible YAML configurations.

• Proficient in Snowflake, particularly in schema design, query testing, and data sharing configuration.

• Proven background in Analytics Engineering, focusing on converting external vendor schemas into internal DTC data models.

• Familiarity with GitLab for branch management and merge request processes.

• Previous experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM) or incrementality vendor integrations is highly advantageous.

• Knowledge of Airflow for pipeline orchestration is preferred.
