Senior Analytics Engineer – ETL/ELT Focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in vendor scoping sessions to finalize comprehensive table and field requirements prior to the commencement of the build phase.

• Develop a specialized datamart within the dbt transformations marts layer, sourcing data from essential order, line item, and customer tables.

• Convert vendor schema specifications into precise internal field mappings, ensuring accurate representation of DTC-adjusted logic such as ship-to addresses, order dates, and customer granularity.

• Set up Snowflake data sharing and connections to enable smooth vendor data ingestion.

• Create detailed dbt tests and documentation for all deployed models to guarantee long-term data integrity and transparency.

• Oversee the complete merge request workflow utilizing GitLab, complying with rigorous peer review standards before deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated capability to fulfill intricate technical requirements autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Strong SQL proficiency, with extensive experience analyzing source tables related to orders, customers, and attribution models.

• Advanced expertise in dbt Core and dbt Cloud, particularly in constructing mart models and creating MetricFlow-compatible YAML configurations.

• Skilled in Snowflake, especially in terms of schema design, query testing, and setting up data sharing.

• Proven background in Analytics Engineering, focusing on the conversion of external vendor schemas into internal DTC data models.

• Experience with GitLab for managing branches and merge request workflows.

• Previous involvement in marketing mix modeling (MMM) or incrementality vendor integrations is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with Airflow for pipeline orchestration is preferred.
